KWong @GuangP's Office 365 batch file has O2019 Pro Plus key, that's why it wasn't working for people like me whose O365 had base of O2016. When I edited your O365 batch file and ran it, it worked in 1st try. Also, I am indeed getting O365 updates. Currently my version is 1907 Monthly Channel.
Also, when you view the video in O365 activation guide, it has O2016 Pro Plus key in the batch file. MS have been bundling O365 with O2016 only. So, in short, I used the old batch file only.
Thanks for letting me know. My bad. I think I replaced the client key of Office 2016 with the one of Office 2019 when I edited the post.
@KWong @GuangP , can you tell me how do I change the channel for O365? It currently is set to Semi-Annual channel. I somehow got to Monthly Channel but it won't change to Monthly Channel (Targeted).
See the post is it work for you.
RKRN3 This article might help you.
ps. I am using Office 2019 and 3D models works without any issues.
KWong I followed this but it changed to Monthly Channel. Can I change to Monthly Targeted as that method isn't working.
According to Microsoft, only have Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted) for Office 365 ProPlus, but no Monthly (Targeted) for Office 365 PRoPLus.
KWong I somehow got Monthly (targeted) in O2016 or O365 Pro Plus.
RKRN3 O365 features didn't work perfectly after upgrading. Have you got this issue?
Magic_Pro Everything is working perfectly for me except the new UI/ribbon interface is gone today for me (reverted to old one). 3D models, shapes, etc work which means my Office 2016 is indeed under O365. I suggest you to do a complete reinstall (Always keep O365 ISO handy). Also, change your channel to Monthly since Insider is not available for us.
@Magic_Pro From today, 3D models and few other O365 features have gone for me. Don't know the reason.
How about redownload the templates?
KWong I can't rotate the 3D models in the template which means that 3D model is completely gone for me. Is there something wrong with the license?
Office 365, is it for yourself use only?
The problem I guess should come from your Monthly (targeted) setting.
I'm not using Office 365, the best bet is ask Microsoft yourself.
KWong These settings went away even while on Monthly Channel. I think O365 from MSGuides has to be used in Semi-Annual (Targeted) channel for the features to stay. Is it so @GuangP?
I don't know why you want to use Monthly (targeted) setting only.
I have contact Mr Guang , may be you will get his answer tomorrow.
GuangP It works for you because 3D Models is available in Office 2019 and Office 365. I activated my Office 365 using your guide. It indeed is activated, but I think only O2016 license is working and not O365's. Can you have a look at it?
Update: So I used Office 2019's batch file on my same O365 (previously activated with O365 batch file) ISO but after getting it to newest build. I then removed O2016 key. The line I marked here appeared for the 1st time and now I have all the Office 365 features except the new layout.
Office 365 version with office 2019 update take time, won't get everything in one go.
KWong Yup, some new features are missing. I also got Insider tab as well.
